TRAINING IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY


This training introduces workers to Occupational Health and Safety . It focuses on the health and safety precautions and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers. It also serves as a general introduction to workplace health and safety.

Workers can use this training program as one way of meet the minimum training required by the Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training regulation.

They all are responsible — employers, supervisors and workers — for preventing workplace illness and injury.


The objectives of the training are:

  • Prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Encourage employers to identify and control hazards.
  • Deter non-compliant employers.
  • Enhance the Brigades of health and safety. 
  • Promote improved health and safety at work.

OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL EXAMS

Entrance examinations for workers in various trades must be justified minimum required for the type of activity to be performed by the worker, for it must have accurate information about the risk landscape, risk map, requirements and information needs of posts labor turnover in these positions, accidents and claims for accidents at work and occupational diseases and knowledge of these diseases predisposing by historical reports of the company.

The people do not work for free, each employee interested in investing work, dedication and personal effort, knowledge and skills, if you receive adequate compensation.

Is the compensation that one receives in exchange for the work or services performed.

Typically, this consists of monetary rewards, also referred to as wage or salary. A number of complementary benefits, however, are increasingly popular remuneration mechanisms. Remuneration is one component of reward management.

Usually in a company, detailed in payroll  the sum of all financial records of salaries for an employee, wages, bonuses and deductions. In accounting, payroll refers to the amount paid to employees for services they provided during a certain period of time. Payroll plays a major role in a company for several reasons.

WELFARE OF WORKERS

Are the best  conditions of the workers in performing their work.

  • The factors that influence the welfare of workers are:

The remuneration, the climate in the work team ,  pressures, safety, hygiene and ergonomics, environments, technology, postural habits, types of procurement, the motivation,  the use of potential and interests of the person in daily tasks and development plans.

All these factors impact positively or negatively on workers and whether the impact is negative has effects, although to varying degrees, always damaging both the mood and health of people.




INDUCTION OF WORKERS TO THE COMPANY

An induction programme is the process used within many businesses to welcome new employees to the company and prepare them for their new role.

Induction training should include development of theoretical-practical skills and safety training, but also meet interaction needs that exist among the new employees.

Also includes the safety training  to workers before they are permitted to enter a site or begin their work. It is usually focused on the particular safety issues of an organisation but will often include much of the general company information delivered to employees.

A big benefit is it provides an introduction to the working environment and the set-up of the employee within the organisation. The process will cover the employer and employee rights and the terms and conditions of employment. As a priority the induction programme must cover any legal and compliance requirements for working at the company and pay attention to the health and safety of the new employee.

THE TEST WARTEGG

The Wartegg completion test  is a projective drawing test, has eight spaces in white 4cm by 4cm squares in two rows Each square is blank except a small sign, such as a dot or a line, that is given as the starting point of a drawing. For example, a dot is located in the centre of square.

The applicants are instructed to complete the eight drawings, incorporating the given sign into the drawing. Like other projective drawing tests, Wartegg’s test is based on the assumption that the content and the qualitative aspects of the drawings reflect the personality of the candidate. For example, a higher than average number of human drawings in the protocol is generally interpreted as a sign of sociability.

The line type, the form in the lines, the use of spaces, each indicating a personality trait.


Interpretation :


  • The first field is the self-concept how the individual perceives himself.
  • The second field is the affection, indicates the emotional, the ability to relate and how it is perceived affective and emotionally.
  • The third field is the ambitions, goals, objectives and project of life.
  • The fourth field how the individual behaves in front of their anxieties and repressions.
  • The fifth field concerning the impulses.
  • The sixth field indicates the cognitive components of personality.
  • The seventh field is sexuality.
  • The eighth field indicating the ability to comply with rules and responsibilities
