WELFARE OF WORKERS

Are the best  conditions of the workers in performing their work.

  • The factors that influence the welfare of workers are:

The remuneration, the climate in the work team ,  pressures, safety, hygiene and ergonomics, environments, technology, postural habits, types of procurement, the motivation,  the use of potential and interests of the person in daily tasks and development plans.

All these factors impact positively or negatively on workers and whether the impact is negative has effects, although to varying degrees, always damaging both the mood and health of people.

INDUCTION OF WORKERS TO THE COMPANY

An induction programme is the process used within many businesses to welcome new employees to the company and prepare them for their new role.

Induction training should include development of theoretical-practical skills and safety training, but also meet interaction needs that exist among the new employees.

Also includes the safety training  to workers before they are permitted to enter a site or begin their work. It is usually focused on the particular safety issues of an organisation but will often include much of the general company information delivered to employees.

A big benefit is it provides an introduction to the working environment and the set-up of the employee within the organisation. The process will cover the employer and employee rights and the terms and conditions of employment. As a priority the induction programme must cover any legal and compliance requirements for working at the company and pay attention to the health and safety of the new employee.
