TRAINING IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY


This training introduces workers to Occupational Health and Safety . It focuses on the health and safety precautions and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers. It also serves as a general introduction to workplace health and safety.

Workers can use this training program as one way of meet the minimum training required by the Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training regulation.

They all are responsible — employers, supervisors and workers — for preventing workplace illness and injury.


The objectives of the training are:

  • Prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Encourage employers to identify and control hazards.
  • Deter non-compliant employers.
  • Enhance the Brigades of health and safety. 
  • Promote improved health and safety at work.

OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL EXAMS

Entrance examinations for workers in various trades must be justified minimum required for the type of activity to be performed by the worker, for it must have accurate information about the risk landscape, risk map, requirements and information needs of posts labor turnover in these positions, accidents and claims for accidents at work and occupational diseases and knowledge of these diseases predisposing by historical reports of the company.

• Examination of labor retirement: Your objective is to assess and record the health conditions in which the worker is removed from the assigned tasks or functions.
